Picture (optional):
Name; ryderclasp
Gender; she-cat
Appearance;
A luxurious coat of pale gray coming from a tiny, skinny body. Bright blue eyes collect and disperse the sunlight like diamonds. One of her legs is horrifically deformed: she can't even move it sometimes. It doesn't hurt her fighting or agility though; she can still move fine without it. Her paws are small and sensitive: it means she can feel every groove, every pebble in the ground. She has a tiny nose, perfect for smelling. Long claws and teeth are meant for fighting and hunting.
Clan; mountianclan
Rank; deputy
Apprentice / Mentor;
mentor; emeraldfern [small brown tabby]
apprentice; darkclaw [massive black tom]
Kin;
damseltalon {mother} [light gray she-cat]
fallingsoot {father} [dark gray tom with white patches]
Mate / Crush;
none
Kits;
none
Personality;
ryderclasp isn't the oldest cat in mountianclan, but she most certainly may be the most cynical. She has no patience for anyone - kits, apprentices, and even fellow warriors - not to mention no desire whatsoever to make relationships outside of her clan. She is naturally a cold, and pessimistic she-cat, which has made her somewhat of a undesirable when it comes to settling down to start a family. That has never bothered her though - no tom has ever been good enough in her eyes.
But many of the qualities that turn other cats off to ryderclasp, makes her a rather efficient, tactile warrior. She is very down to earth, an no nonsense is her eternal motto. She does not like to make mistakes, but realizes that you can learn and grow from them, and has become a one-track trainer when it comes to the defense of her clan. She may not be the friendliest gal around, but she is ferocious when it comes to the defense of her clan, and even the most annoying of her clanmates. The word of her leader is law, and what they say, will always go.
ryderclasp's wit comes in a combination of sarcasm and lack of most other base humors. She does not need to relax - or so she thinks - and if there ever were a workaholic clan cat, ryderclasp would be just that. She's the last to fall into her nest at night, and the first to be up on dawn patrol. There's a lot a silly, foolhardy apprentice could learn from ryderclasp, but starclan help the poor kit who gets partnered with her as a mentor.
History;
Like every cat, ryderclasp was born a kit. She was only different in the fact that she had no one to talk to. There weren't any other kits in the nursery except for her and her mother. And ryderkit despised her rather overprotective mother. Instead, ryderkit talked with the apprentices, not making friends with them, but just talking.
As an apprentice, ryderpaw grew even more distant. Her heart of gold seemed to shrink as she aged. The silver she-cat instead focused on becoming a warrior. Instead of socializing like a normal cat, she'd train or hunt. Hardly anyone payed notice to her, except for maybe one or two cats who she'd actually befriended. When it came time for her to become a warrior, she fought in a battle. Several days later, at the end of the battle, she was made a warrior.
Because of her bravery, ryderpaw became ryderclasp.
She soon got an apprentice, witnessed him dies two days after his warrior ceremony.
Soon after that, ryderclasp was appointed as deputy.
Other;
nothing.
