Mottlefire is a black, ginger and white tom with blazing fire-red eyes.
Mottlefire's soft, sleek pelt is mainly white with black and ginger patches. Though he may look tortoiseshell, he is not. He usually claws any cat who calls him that. Though some of the ginger patches look brown, they are ginger. The patches on his face ornately frame his eyes, making them stand out of his small, fine-boned face. His eyes are fire red, so they stand out anyway. He is quite handsome, and has long legs. His tail is also quite long.
Personality:
A kind cat at heart, though he has a rough edge to his voice as if he's expecting every cat to insult him. To any cat outside his clan he may appear frightening, but all the cats in his clan know he's really mostly a big softie. Except for when he's fighting. Then he seems to be a whirlwind of fury, hardly even noticing who he's attacking. All who know him also know to avoid him when he's angry, because he may take out his anger on whoever tries to talk to him. When he's like that, he usually tries to go for a walk to cool off. Even if he manages to take a chill pill, he will be edgy and his fur will be raised on the back of his neck. But most of the time he tries to see other cat's points of views and is easy to talk to. He's friends with everybody at Gatherings, showing only a little hostility to other Clans though he's always ready to fight at the slightest sign from his leader.
History:
Mottlefire was born to Brokenglass and Greeneyes, with two siblings, Alderkit and Vaporkit. He had a rather uneventful kithood, until his 4th moon. That was when his father, Greeneyes, died. He was fight two loners, named Birch and Iron, when he was ambushed by the rest of Birch's group. Alderkit died soon after of Greencough. As Vaporkit and Mottlekit became Vaporpaw and Mottlepaw, Brokenglass left the Clan with her sister, Palmflower. The two apprentices were left parentless. Soarflight, his mentor cared for him, but he receded into a shell. As he aged, he met Hushpaw, a reincarnation of a elder Mottlepaw never met. And he fell in love. As Mottlepaw became Mottlefire and Hushpaw became Hushpetal, they became mates. Hushpetal later had his kits, named Alderkit, Reedkit, and Swiftkit.
