We Found Love
"I don't blame you for falling for him, I blame him for falling for you."
[/i]"I don't blame you for falling for him, I blame him for falling for you."
INTRODUCTION
The one person I wanted for eternal with holding and she's stolen it away from me. That one person who I have known forever, longer than he has and yet she still betrays me? And for him, of course. Why would it be anyone else but him?
I guess the first thing you want me to say is,well,hi. My name's Elizabeth. And I have a weird loving for one person that I have loved since I was eleven. Younger than that, probably. We'd loved eachother since we were capable of loving. Me and this one girl, Emily, know for a fact that one day we were born sisters and someone seperated the both of us. It's what we used to joke about. Step-sisters.
She has been like this for almost.. Well, ever. We stopped being so close two years ago, when she broke up with her boyfriend. She had been with him or what, a year or so? They loved eachother. At least that's what I thought. The only thing that I could ever even attempt to think, at least. It's better to have loved and lost to have never loved at all.
But then I dated this perfect soul. I realized why she had the hots for him. He was absolutely and irrevocably perfect. His looks, his personality, his sense of humor. All the way down to the last eyelash of his body he was perfect. He had VERY few flaws. There was nothing about him that made me utterly repulsed.
Me and Emily's sloppy second, I should say, Lucas, dated for what? Four years? It was a perfect time. Everything was. He treated me well and I treated him like he was a prince. When he messed up, I would blame it on myself. Everything that ever happened made me want him even more. He was absolutely mine. Nothing could come between that.
Except for white lies. Now, they were small and vague. But they were lies. Lies that couldn't be changed back to the truth. It could be about something he said or something he felt or a disease or anything. I could sense he was lying, but I never straight up told him he was lying. But now it's been four years.
I'm 18. I still talk to him. Everything went wrong that day he told me he was sick and he wouldn't be coming to school. Turns out, Emily wasn't at school either. So, being a good girlfriend, I went to his house and brought him soup, and other crap you use to get better. I was going to keep him company all night if he wanted it. Was.
Lemme recap in the next chapter. This is just an introduction, mind you. Can't have everything sat up here, eh?
CHAPTER 1
I was walking up to his house this afternoon, with a Krogers bag. My wallet was tucked in the back pocket of my capris. The lights at Lucas's house were all off. I had a key, but I knew I wouldn't use it. I didn't need it. He always kept his front door open. I'd surprise him. My eyes sparkled with happiness.
I opened the door slowly, and there was no sound that I could hear. Not even the soft sound of the TV was heard. He was probably asleep. I lead myself into his room quietly. The kroger bag clashed in my hand.
No one was in his room, but I could hear muttering coming from upstairs. The guest room. He was probably looking out the window on the phone with a teacher or something. I could tell he was speaking, then laughing softly. I blinked. Why would he be laughing? I slowly made my way upstairs.
When I made it there,I could hear Lucas's voice, and I heard a female's voice that I knew all too well. "I love you too,Lucas.." I blinked. I entered the room. What I saw made the Kroger bag clash to the ground and my eyes raise.
Lucas was sitting on the windowsill, the window closed and the curtains over it. He wore a ruffled white t-shirt and boxers, and there was someone in his lap, her legs wrapped around his waist and straddling him like it was no big deal. Her back was to me, and her short hair fell down her shoulders. Her hair was messy, and so was his. It was Emily.
Emily couldn't see me, so she continued to giggle. When Lucas froze, Emily turned around to see me. Her eyes widened. She jumped out of his lap and quickly redid the top button on her shirt. Her cheeks were flushed. I stared at the both of them.
"I..I came back to h-huh.. Here." I kicked the bag and turned. My legs brought me down the stairs at the most fast motion I thought I ever could go. Before I was even half way down, my body slipped and fell face first down the stairs. I heard a piercing scream. My own.
"Liz!" Yelled Lucas, running down the stairs. I turned around. My leg ached, and there was a sharp cut down the edge of my capris. They were ripped, and I was bleeding. I gulped.
He bent down to help me up, his face flushed. "Your leg looks sprained. Let me get you to the hospita--" I pushed his hand out of mine and grabbed the side of a stair, pulling myself up in a standing position. Tears fell down my face. I couldn't feel the pain anymore. It began to get darker outside. I could tell it was about to rain.
"Let me go,Lucas." I whispered. Blood trickled onto my shoe. My voice was broken. Tears continued to fall. I barely put pressure on my leg as I began to walk out of the house. Soon, I was running.
The wind sliced at my face as the raindrops poured down onto my face. My tears were unknown as I ran. I kept running until I reached the woods, and I still continued. Leaves burned against my skin as I ran. I tripped over a loose root and down I fell, onto the wet leaves that had fallen from the trees above me. My leg turned.
A yelp of pain came from me as I turned onto my back and glanced at my leg. Dry blood with wet raindrops covered it. Dirt was on it's backside from the leaves. I tried to pull myself up. "Why me?" I whispered quietly, tears stinging at my eyes when I fell. "I loved you for four Freaking years, Lucas. More than that. You were my boyfriend and I wanted to marry you. And you cheat on me with your ex. Why?" my whisper got louder, as I screamed so loud that I think my neighbors could hear.
"Why?" I muttered. My eyelids began to droop. My body fell to the ground. A crack of thunder began to show above me. Rain began to thicken. I closed my eyes as small mudpuddles and rain began to form around me. My leg was red and bruised, stuck under the root that came from the forest undergrowth.
I tried to get up a few times, but my leg was stuck. At the same time, I didn't want to get up. I'd always splash into those mud puddles. I probably laid there for a good hour until my eyes drifted into a closed position.
CHAPTER 2[/center]
My eyes barely opened as I saw a person wrapping their arms around my body and pulling my foot free from the root.
I heard sirens as my hearing began to function correctly. My eyes were half closed, and my whole body was sticky and cold from mud. The first feeling I felt was a huge pain of my limp left ankle.
"I found her!" A unknown voice rang above me. I flinched as I heard the voice. I could feel them lowering me downward onto something, as rushed voices of people I didn't recognize began to erupt around me. The need to know what the hell was going on quickened.
