Forsakenkit had just sneaked out of the nursery in the camp of CardinalClan. She hated being cooped up in that; it was torture to her. It wasn't like any of the cats would care. None of the cats in any of the clans really cared about her well being in the clan. Her tail twitched as she walked and approached the small looking waterfall in the territory. She had seen this waterfall many times, and liked it every time she did. As she was walking to it, a thick coat of fog surrounded her. She snarled. She hated fog. Just like she hated just about everything else in the world. Her tail lashed as she walked closer and closer to it. The fog began to vanish slightly as she walked up the top of the waterfall. She sat down in what seemed to be the middle of the waterfall going up.
Forsakenkit sat down on a cold rock. It was a little bit cold from the water splashing up on it, but she partially didn't really mind about it. Her tail lashed as she laid her head upon her paws. She hated being cooped up in the camp like a kit.. Even though she was a kit. She wanted to be apprenticed already. Her claws unsheathed at the though, a slight smirk on her face. She wanted to finally be able to fight other clans, to show them that even if she was half blind and half deaf, that she could beat them in a fight any time. She smirked again.
Forsakenkit began to plot about becoming an apprentice and eventually a leader when a giant gust of wind hit her, and even the water. She regained her balance, but was splashed with a giant wave, her whole pelt soaking and her scar ebbing in slight pain. She snarled up at the sky. "Mousebrains, whoever made weather should be punished." Her claws unsheathed fully now, shaking her pelt off.

Silentstar walked towards the waterfall, tail lashing. Yesterday had been raining, today you could barely see through the thick fog! "Thanks alot." he snarled to the sun, he knew was just above the fog. He wanted to relax a little, and maybe fish. He had been a very busy cat leading the greatest Clan of that forst after all. Silentstar ruler of all! he thought grandly, approaching the waterfall. Looking upward, he saw a small shape hidden by the fog on the top, and also saw a wave crash into it. Hah, mousebrain whoever that is. he thought bitterly, that somebody would be interrupting his visit to the waterfall. Bounding silently up the rocks, he got behind the cat, and realized who it was. It was that weak kittypet his equally weak deputy had forced him to bring into the Clan. He wanted to kill this little twig on site, but no. He had to 'be nice for once.' Like he wasn't already nice! Of course you're nice. a voice resounded in his head as he nodded firmly. Somebody understands me. he smiled, before turning his full attention to the kit. A low growl formed in his throat. He should just push the kit off now... but he respected his deputy more than that. If the kit wasn't loyal, or disrespected him... then maybe he'd push them off. "You shouldn't stand so close. You'll get your pelt wet, you know, or have you been around waterfalls much at your twoleg home? Or maybe the nursery has eagles, waves, and a little catnip too?" he asked bitterly, his words sounding worse than his actual tone. He remained standing on the cool rock, feeling nice on his pads. He thought of the fish he was going to eat, it would have to wait until this kit left to go back to the nursery. He despised arrogant kits thinking they could do it all. He didn't go out of the nursery like a good kit should. He was the perfect kit, he thought smugly. Forsakenkit didn't hear Silentstar approach, and when she didn, she wanted to cry out. Great. She thought. The almighty leader here to tell ME what to do. She disliked just about every cat in the clan. She skittishly moved away from him, and purposely shook her fur off on him, giving him a semi-apologetic glance, that he probably already knew was fake. She knew that the leader had never wanted her here. Well guess what? She didn't want him either. She feeling was mutual.
"I was only getting towards the waterfall because I wanted to relax. It's too loud in the camp." Forsakenkit's voice was almost a snarl, and her face looked rather annoyed at the cat in front of her. Who wouldn't be? Not many cats liked Silentstar, and when she was trying to rest, she didn't want him interrupting. Maybe she could go off and get a mouse. One of her ears prickled at the thought, the one that could actually hear.
Forsakenkit looked into the water where the waterfall stopped and a small pond began, and saw a medium sized looking fish. She took no hesitation and jumped into the water after it. She could barely swim, but the water wasn't deep enough for her to drown. She jumped after it and, since the fish was so slow, she easily caught it and killed it, picking it up out of the water and trotting over to Silentstar eagerly, her eye glazed with annoyance.
"Is this what you wanted?" she asked innocently. Before you interrupted me? She thought, her whole pelt damp from being splashed.

Silentstar watched as she arrogantly shook her pelt on him, and the voice stopped him from ramming his whole body into her and leaving her to die. Careful Silentstar, you don't know who would get back at you for that. "You idiot. I don't care!" he snarled, jerking his head to the sky. His eyes tarced their way back to the kit, and saw a little 'I'm not really sorry but I don't really want you here, and don't want you to kill me' glance at him. He ignored it, and gave his tail a lash. Then he watched as she leapt into a small pool of water, catching a fish and came back up laying it down for him. He swept a paw out knocking it back into the water, blood starting to taint the pond red. He didn't want something a kittypet fished out for him "You can go back in and get it yourself, but I can catch my own prey. I also wanted one from the river, a place where if I ever catch you before you are an apprentice, I'll slit your throat." he growled, still upset about the fish. "You'll be lucky if you make it to be an apprentice anyway going out of camp..." he mewed under his breath. He wanted to leave now that this thingyy kit had shown up, but he was here. And he wasn't going to stomp off like some immature apprentice would. He took a pawstep forwardm giving his tail another lash seeing how far the kit could get to the edge without backing away from him anymore. Oh he wouldn't make the kit fall in but if they so happended to maybe...slip on a rock? Silentstar. the voice repeated. What now? he asked, glaring a the rock below him. Stop being so mean, you need to be nice like your deputy said. the voice said, soothingly. "I AM NICE!" he yowled at the sun. If I could only see you... he thought bitterly, turning back to the kit. He plopped angrily down on the rock, wrapping his tail tightly around his paws. He'd forgotten about the fish he was going to catch, and about relaxing. Forsakenkit turned away from him and went back to get the fish, rolling her eyes annoyedly. He wasn't just going to get rid of her, he was too smart for that. Well, smart enough not to be such a complete idiot and just push her into the water. She grabbed the fish out of the water, the tangy taste of fish which she loved staining her mouth. She swerved past him as he began to walk closer to her, then sat down and began to eat the fish. Some other cat would catch more prey later.
Forsakenkit held back a laugh when he screamed out and looked up at the sky. Oh, Silentstar. She thought, like she was talking to some kind of idiotic kit. Talking to inanimate objects again. You know they can't hear you, you schizophrenic mousebrain.. She bit into the small looking fish and are only a little bit of it, then looked back up at Silentstar, who was looking up at the sun. She wondered why he did that, questioningly.
Forsakenkit didn't want to start a conversation with him, so she just stayed quiet, knowing he would just talk to try and piss her off. It wasn't going to work, she knew. She could hold her tongue better than he could. She smirked slightly and continued to eat the fish until it was halfway gone. She sat up, licking her paws. Her pelt was almost fully dry now, and it looked better than it did. She licked it down and let her ear which was deaf lay back, then looked back at Silentstar slightly questioningly, wondering why he was so rude to everyone.. Hm. There had to be some kind of reason... But she wasn't about to ask. She didn't care enough.

Silentstar glared down at the insolent kit. Why can't I push that... mousebrain using polite terms... down into the waterfall? he asked the sun, as it for once stayed silent. He watched the kit eat the fish, as another growl formed in his throat. He knew every cat ate while hunting, because that's the way CardinalClan was... but he didn't want a... a kittypet eating before his Clan. A lean black body made it's way to stand up, the sun reflecting the soft white tint throughout spots in his pelt. "Why don't you save that fish for cats who deserve it." he growled, just plain angry at the kit at this point. She needed to leav- die already. "I think it would be wise next time to go and give that to a queen. Maybe your mother. She deserves something other than you, not like I won't kill you off later to ease the burden on the Clan." he mewed, a hard glare in his eyes as he made the blatant threat. He hoped the kit had gotten the message, although he was unsure because of its stupidity. It was just a boulder on the path to success... but every time he put his paw down to smash it into the ground the voice spoke. No Silentstar, somebody will get back at you. it whispered in his mind. Forsakenkit froze at the thought of her mother. Her heart seemed to be beating even faster than usual at the thought. She hadn't seen her mother since.. The thought shook away from her head. She stood up fully, her teeth bared into a snarl for a moment, then she looked at the leader known as Silentstar, her tail lashing.
"Don't you care about your clan to know enough that my mother died when I was a moon old, before I even came to your clan? You've never seen her. You don't know. So why the hell would you think to mention her, if you knew she was dead? Or did you not know, and you're just that rude not to keep up with your clan, to know that the only kit in your clan doesn't have a mother to nurse her?" Her ranting no longer continued. She kicked the half eaten piece of prey, which was a fish, towards him.. She sat back on her back paws, her tail still lashing from annoyance that he even dared to mention her mother.

Silentstar gave a little laugh, sitting back down on the rock as the whines of the kit persisted. Ah he was never like this. A strong kit didn't whine when something didn't go its way. She angrily flung the half eaten fish towards him, as he moved his paw up to pin the fish under him, pierce it with sharpened claws, and fling it back at her harder than it came to him. Standing back up he smirked at the kit. "You'll be happy to know," he said with a matter of fact voice, "I do keep up with what you said. My Clan. But my Clan doesn't include kittypets. What are you?" he asked, taking a step towards her. He took another one, and his voice kicked in. Silentstar your deputy-- it said before his growl drowned out it. That hadn't happended in a long time, he thought. Slashing his paws around the front paws of the kit he snarled. "You're a kittypet! You're lucky my deputy took pity on you, but you need to learn to watch your tongue." he finished his drawn out growl, before taking a massive paw and, slightly ungraceful in his rage, slammed the kits head, hoping to knock them into the water. They didn't fall, as he growled. "Die you insolent kit." he said, his words a greater threat than his tone of voice. This time he used his other paw to knock her, and he saw her slip off the side. He hoped she would stay there, for good. He smiled at the thought, coming back to a dead kit in the waterfall. She wouldn't be missed by anybody but his sappy deputy. Forsakenkit's eyes were still not scared of the idiotic leader. No matter what he did, it annoyed the hell out of her. As he pushed her into the water, sure, she expected it. She wasn't going to walk away like a child, like an apprentice who didn't get it's way.
When she was pushed, she went back to the bottom, her back hitting the rocks on the bottom of the lake's pool. It was probably bleeding, but she knew not to panic !at the disco, as the air was knocked out of her. She took in the water slightly, coughing.
Forsakenkit's eye socket burned in pain. Her claws unsheathed as she pawed at the water, steadily floating up. That's right, she thought. Keep doing such.
As soon as she reached the top, she took in the air, and began to swim closer to the shore, the opposite one than the leader. She reached the edge rocks, her paw catching as she heaved herself up and onto land.
Forsakenkit began to lick her pelt off, flicking her tail, then looking around for a second. Her eye stung, but she could see well. Her socket was burning; she hated getting it wet after the incident.
Forsakenkit went back up the waterfall, her agile legs barely hurting from the push, her back only scratched from the rocks hitting it. When she reached halfway up the waterfall, she moved away from the water so it wouldn't hit her, then began to lick her back, taking a sideways glance at the probably pissed off Silentstar.
