Ocimumpaw stepped out of his den and padded quickly over to the Fresh Kill Pile. It had been two days since he'd eaten, and his stomach was as loud as what the elders said dogs sounded like. As he approached, another apprentice stepped out of their den and ran over. Trying not to cause much trouble, Ocimumpaw snatched a small mouse from the pile and nibbled at it. It wasn't enough, but he knew rations were low so he shouldn't overeat. As he finished, Ocimumpaw stacked the bones neatly and threw them out. The other apprentice walked up next to him and flicked their tail. "You're Ocimumpaw, right ?" they said. "Y-yes, I'm Ocimumpaw..." he replied.

OOC:
If your going to include another App or warrior, let them Rp their own character. Please don't power-play(: Or just make sure they know what they are doing at least.

Blazingstreak gave a loud yawn, as he finally awoke among the warm moss lining his den. He sat abrputly as he became aware his apprentice was not there. He quickly clambered out of the medicine cat den, anxious to get to work on sorting the herbs; you never knew when a battle might approach. But firstly, he thought he had better check on what his apprentice was up to. It was easy to find him; he was near the fresh kill pile, talking to another apprentice. Blazingstreak thought he looked rather nervous, and headed over to him, trying to act casual.
'Occiumpaw!' His mew rang loud over the camp clearing and he hastily shut his mouth. He spared a small glance, full of slight disdain, to the other apprentice; he didn't remember his name.. Slightly awkward if the situation arose that he would need it. 'Occiumpaw,' he continued, acting as if the other cat was not there. 'I need you in my den; we must sort herbs!' With that message given and a small, encouraging flick of his tail, he padded back sedately to his den.

Ocimumpaw turned away from the other apprentice and raced over to Blazingstreak. "A-alright.." He padded into the den and looked around at all the herbs in their places. Poppy, Chervil, Feverfew, Catnip... all these herbs and he was just learning them.. "B-blazingstreak? What's Coltsfoot for again..? Something about breathing.." Ocimumpaw trailed off as he observed the other medicines. He knew that Cobwebs were for stopping bleeding, Watermint for bellyaches, Celandine for sore eyes, and Burdock for infected wounds...but was was Coltsfoot for ? And Goldenrod ? There was so much to learn, it was overwhelming. He sat down as he waited for his mentor to finish wrapping some..what was it.. Chamomile.
[[Runneh, that's how I've always started Rps. Sorry if that offended you, but I'm not a noob, so I don't need reminding of something that is normal on my standards. If you need to, could you at least chat or PM me about it ? Levi]]

Blazingstreak nodded somewhat reassuringly to his apprentice, sensing his apprehension in asking him and also his disappointment in forgetting; well, those were the emotions he presumed Ocimumpaw was feeling. 'You're on the right track, it is something to do with breathing. Coltsfoot is to help cats who are feeling short of breath, if perhaps they have another illness or something of the likes.' Seeing his apprentice also glance with what looked like an expression of confusion at the herb, Goldenrod, he added gently; 'and Goldenrod is used as a poultice, for wound - healing.'
He couldn't help but smile a little; he remembered how much he had struggled learning the herb names. At this present time, Ocimumpaw was doing much better than him! 'Here,' he said after a short pause. 'D'you mind sorting the rest of the Dock ? I'll be back with a few more Juniper Berries; our stock is low.' He was halfway out the den entrance, when he added, 'oh, if you finish those; move onto.. perhaps the Watermint!' With a small swish of his dark ginger tail, he vanished, trotting carefully out of the camp.
