Bloodpaw scuffed her paws and ducked her head downwards again, so he wouldn't see how funny she was finding this. If she had asked herself why exactly she found this funny, she herself, probably wouldn't have known. Bloodpaw gave a small smirk to herself, making sure she didn't let it show through. 'Hmm.. y'know, I could ask you the exact same thing!' She stood up straight and proud, and managed to look him straight in the eye. 'Well ?' She raised one eyebrow, a feat she had always prided herself in and used it when she wanted to add an extra affect. Like now. Her tail tip twitched with faint annoyance, mixed with amusment and she gave a fake yawn and raised her eyes to the heavens. 'Anyway, there's not harm in me being out is there ? No rule in the warrior code that says; ''A cat may not wander before dawn.'' As she said this, she made her voice higher and mocking and flashed him another grin. 'C'mon.. lighten up.' She shook her head, slightly in faint disbelief, half - trying to mock him yet again.

MountainPaw stared at BloodPaw in disbelief, was she mocking him? He let out a low growl, his tail lashed side to side while his claws dug into the earth. "I was searching for you!"He hissed. He could feel his fur hot with anger or emberassment, the tom was not very sure but he could feel a small hint of anger in him. "So what if the warrior code doesn't say that! What if the dawn patrol catches you?!" He declared. His eyes burning with irritation. MountainPaw wished he could lighten up but he couldn't. He was pretty much annoyed or well, angry at the she-cat in front of her. The fur on his pelt, prickled with the emotion's he felt. His claws digged deeper into the earth and didn't even notice. Why would he be getting angry over one small thing? Was it because BloodPaw was acting mean or was it because she was mocking him? Who knows, cause currently, he didn't.

Bloodpaw took a small step backwards and winced as her paw pad caught on a stick. All the light - heartedness and amusement she had been displaying earlier, was gone. Instead, it was replaced with a look of frightened confusion. 'Look, I'm sorry alright ? But.. I didn't ask you to come looking for me.' She mumbled this softly, in fear of angering him even more than he was already in his current state. She had only been half - joking, perhaps MountainPaw had found her humor a little insulting. Yes.. that could explain why he had gotten so upset and angry over it. Even still, she was starting to a little nervous of him. She noted his tail; swishing angrily and his eyes which seemed to burn into hers in what she thought was a threatening manner. She shrank back, ducking down a little, making herself look smaller and more submissive. 'Look.. if a Dawn Patrol finds me, I'll just tell them what I told you; I went out for a walk!' She muttered, afterwards; 'Gosh.. No need to be such a cranky furball.' She turned around and flounced off, though her tail was drooping.

MountainPaw's anger and irritation disappeared once he saw the emotion on BloodPaw's face. Was she frightened of his anger? Or was she just trying to make him even more angry? The question buzzed around his head until he shook the thought out, looking down at his paws. The tom noticed his claws we're digging into the earth, sitting down and flicking the dirt off of his claws as he looked at BloodPaw in complete silence for a moment. He let out a sigh and got back up to his paws when he was finished, opening his mouth to speak. "Its okay, and I really don't care if you didn't want me to go search for you! I was only doing it because...." MountainPaw trailed off to a moment of silence, he didn't want to admit he was only searching for her because the tom was actually worried about the she-cat. He shook his head, feeling his fur burn with a certain type of emotion he was feeling. At the moment he didn't want her to know, he just wanted to bring her back to camp. All he did was sigh, looking up he noticed she had already gone. Seeing her tail drag against the forest floor as she went away. The apprentice almost yelled after her but instead he just watched her leave.

Bloodpaw continued to walk along and her head began to droop. Why didn't he finish the sentence ? Many ideas rushed in and out of her head, buzzing incessantly. The thought continued to plague Bloodpaw as she slowly padded along until it was all she could concentrate on. Her paws began dragging on the damp forest floor and she found that her claws had become unsheathed and she looked at them in a daze, as if she was glancing at her own body through a thick fog. She stopped and shook her head. She just had to know. This was one of her negative traits; once some cat, any cat, had half finished a sentence or thought, she simply HAD to know the rest. There was no question about it, even if the cat had been one of StarClan themselves, she still would have eventually turned back to ask, no matter how reluctant and aloof she had seemed, previously.
She stopped completely now and her head was bowed, her eyes squeezed tightly shut as she thought and decided. Slowly, eyes still closed, she turned around. The first thing she noticed was that MountainPaw had been watching her the whole time she had been walking away and a strange sense of embarrassment and annoyance prickled over her pelt, making it stand partly on edge. Her lips peeled back in a half - snarl but she quickly stopped herself and took a great, shuddering breath. This time, she would remain calm and honest; no anger, no teasing and no fear. She put one paw in front of the other, telling herself it would be easier when she took that first step. It wasn't, but she kept going towards him, her green eyes raised to look at the tree - tops. Not yet, she couldn't look at him, not while the humiliation was still coursing through her veins. She stopped, right before him. 'You have to tell me.. what were you going to end that sentence with ? The one about, something like 'I was only looking because..' Her eyes were fill of a huge desperation; he had to understand her need. It was essential to her well - being. Literally.

MountainPaw's eyes we're clouded with worry as the she-cat padded away further and further. He felt his pelt prickle with emotion, his tail flicked to the side as he flexed his claws. Looking up he noticed that BloodPaw had turned around and padded back to him. He tilted his head to the side in confusion. Why was she heading back? The question buzzed in his head for a moment until the apprentice was right in front of him.
His eyes widened once she asked him the question. The tom hesitated for a moment, his tail lashed side to side. He really didn't want her to know that he was only searching for her because MountainPaw was worried about BloodPaw. Also he cared for her, like as if she we're his sister. He opened his mouth to speak, a bit nervous. "I-I was only looking for you because.....I was only worried!" He stammered, put down his paw. The tom really didn't want the she-cat to know anymore.

Bloodpaw's whiskers twitched with faint amusment and another emotion she could not put her paw on. Was it.. joy ? Bloodpaw hoped not, in a way for no cat had ever caused her to feel happy before. She raised one eyebrow with great ease. 'Worried, eh?' Then, she turned her head away and stared straight into the sky. She muttered to herself; 'well, I s'pose it's good to think that some cat would notice my absence, were I to disappear forever.' Then she stopped, noting the fact that MountainPaw was staring at her with faint worry in his eyes, she quickly shut her mouth. 'Uhm, well, it would probably be for the best if we both got back to camp. Like you said earlier, we don't want a patrol to find us; they always suspect the worst, even of their own clan.' As she said this, her eyes darted around the clearing where they were standing, already looking out for any other cats. She nodded once more, then quickly padded away, her tail outstretched.

MountainPaw could sense the she-cat was amused, but he also could tell that she was also...joyfull? He couldn't make up his mind but all he knew that the apprentice was feeling a positive mood. Looking up he nodded, his tail lashed to side with worry. "Yeah..." He mewed, ears perked. Still staring at her with worried eyes, he tried to stop acting so worried but the tom couldn't shake it off. He got up to his paws and yawned a bit. "I guess so" He mewed, with a small smile on his face, feeling his worried eyes fade away. Waving his tail in the air, the tom bounded after BloodPaw.

Bloodpaw reached the camp, just a little before MoutainPaw. She hesitated as she reached the entrance, for she could see many cats running about. They were obviously continuing with their daily chores for the clan. 'What shall we do ? Just.. sorta go straight in, pretend we were hunting ?' Her eyes darted back and forth, from MountainPaw's face, to the camp clearing. Then, her eyes shone bright and her tail stood straight up for she had been struck with a great idea. 'Ok.. listen to this!' She mewed quickly to MountainPaw. 'I'll go back out, get a couple of fresh - kill pieces, then we can each take one back in! Then neither of us can be told off!' She flashed him a quick smile, before looking away again, then mewed, less full of emotion; 'what say you ?' She already began to take small, impatient steps away, as she tilted her head gently to one side, waiting for his answer.
[ I'll finish this later, sorry ~ ]
