Bloodpaw crept out of the apprentice's den, relatively early in the morning; before the Dawn Patrol. She slunk past the warrior's den and looked quickly around the camp, searching for any sign of cats lurking nearby; ready to catch her out. Satisfied there was no-one around, she kept quietly padding along; this time, she would show her mentor, and her clan, how capable she was with her hunting and become a warrior!

MountainPaw's ears perked as he heard paw steps. He let out a small yawn as he opened his eyes. The tom looked around, noticing that BloodPaw was not in her nest. Hmm? Wheres BloodPaw? He thought as he got up quietly, making sure he wouldn't wake up AcornPaw or anyone else. Quickly, he snuck out of the apprentice den, but before he could exit out, the apprentice looked around the camp. Letting out a sigh of relief, MountainPaw crawled out of the den.

Bloodpaw gave a small sigh as she reached the exit of the camp. She didn't really know what she was doing. She just had felt like some alone time and she found the dawn the most peaceful and beautiful time of the day to get it. Also, no other cat was around. She stood, simply staring at the sunlight as it flittered down among the leaves, making checkered patterns on the soft earth, below. Then she was drawn back to her senses, by a distance thud. A small sound, yet enough to send her fleeing out of camp. Once she was a few tail - length's away, and reasonably well hidden in a small holly bush, she peered around. She thought she saw the flicker of a pelt and faint, very faint, pawsteps. Was some cat searching for her ? She mused to herself, darting another look over her shoulder and forcing her fur to lie flat. Her tail was still and stuck out like a rod behind her. This was a sign of her nerves; she really didn't want to be caught wandering around, for she thought some cat, apprentice especially, may think she was fratenizing with a rival clan member. Which she would never dream [or dare] to do.

MountainPaw quietly searched for the apprentice. The tom found it a bit hard to find BloodPaw, he let out a hiss of frustration and kept on looking. He lifted up his nose as he began to sniff the air, trying to pick up her scent. With out luck, he sighed. How am I gunna find her? Maybe she left the camp to meet someone, or maybe she is hiding from me! The tom sneered as he thought about it. Or maybe BloodPaw is meeting up with one of the rival clans! She must have bees in her head if she is doing that! His eyes widened once the thought appeared in his mind. The tom stopped beside the small holly bush BloodPaw was hiding in. "Where in StarClan's name is she?!" MountainPaw hissed under his breath as he looked for her. Surely he got tired of searching for the she-cat. It was getting on his last nerve, it was most likely impossable to find her right now.

Bloodpaw recognized the scent of MountainPaw and relaxed a little. At least it wasn't a warrior that was about to find her, if they happened to. She pondered for a few minutes, on whether to announce herself or remain hidden. She wondered which would seem more suspicious. She thought she heard him mutter something under his breath; but it was a faint hiss and inaudible to her, from the position she was in. As she got lost in her thoughts, her indecisiveness making her lose all track of time, she realized she could no longer hear him. Just then, like a bolt of lightning, an inspirational idea struck her. She would pretend that he was the one sneaking out and that she was following him, then sneak up on him. She let out a small giggle, she amused herself often.. one way she was thought of as a little different to the other cats around her. Now she had thought that, however, she would have to find him again. She took a deep scent of the air and picked up the familiar odor. She quickly hastened after him, taking care to make her paw - steps light, looking down at the ground, intently.

MountainPaw's ears perked once he heard a small giggle. He stood there for a moment, then shrugged, maybe the tom was just hearing things. He felt the weight on his paws, feeling himself sway side to side from the sleepy ness. He let out a yawn then shook his head. No! I'm not going to give up on searching for BloodPaw! The tom thought as his tail went up in the air, starting to walk confindently. "I'll find you...just you wait!" He mewed as MountainPaw looked for the she-cat.

Meanwhile, Bloodpaw kept stalking stealthily behind MountainPaw. As he stopped she let out a big gasp involuntarily, not realizing she had been holding her breath. Instantly, she ducked down, which was probably a silly thing to do, when she reflected on the incident, later; it would only draw his eyes to the movement, something she didn't want to happen. She slunk back into a bush, feeling the sharp leaves pierce gently through her pelt. She waited, holding her breath again, for him to come and investigatate the noise, but he didn't seem to be padded her way. She looked behind her and let out another small gasp; a small, thorny branch had poked her sharply, above her right eye. She gave a small hiss, getting more irritated as the moments progressed. Bloodpaw was almost prepared to give up her quest for trying to scare MountainPaw. It was a pretty stupid game, if you could even call it that, she thought, crossly.

MountainPaw stopped once more, his ears flattened as he began to have a feeling he was being stalked by someone. He looked around, the tom's ears twitched at an instant when he heard a his. The apprentice turned around, his eyes clouded with aware. "Who's out there? Show yourself!" He meowed, flexing his claws with a lash of his tail, as he began to take a paw step foward.

Bloodpaw purposefully widened her eyes and made herself look innocent and somewhat scared - on the inside she was bursting with laughter; she didn't even know if she'd be able to make it without showing some kind of emotion. She decided, after waiting a few heartbeats that seemed to drag on and on, to step out. Cautiously, she put one paw in front of the other, giving MountainPaw time to see who it was. The last thing she wanted was to be attacked by her own clanmate - and one around the same age as her, as well. She stepped out completely now, her tail down and twitching slightly as she waited with wide eyes to see his response. At first, she didn't know whether he was going to laugh or attack her. She tried to hide the smile that was fighting through her, forcing its way up and out. She had to duck her head down and she thought she could feel his glare upon her. 'Yup.. that's right. It's only me.' She couldn't help but let out a faint smile.

The apprentice waited till he saw the cat creep out of their hiding place. He was a bit surprised that it was BloodPaw, but confused at the same time. MountainPaw was looking for her, but while he was looking for her, BloodPaw has been stalking him the whole time. The tom was flunked about this, confusing clouded his eyes. He tried not to show the emotion of confusion on his face as he spoke. "What are you doing out here?" He demanded. Staring at the she-cat as he waited for her response.
