Slashingblade growled, another cat had come. He wanted to attack, but this was the Medicine Cat and he hoped that everyone knew that they couldn't stop him, at least he hoped so. When he was going to kill something, he'll do it when no one was around. Possibly in the middle of the night. He suddenly toned down his growl, ready to pounce at any moment he got, Slashingblade won't attack without reason usually, then he suddenly grabbed Darkpaw's scruff using his fangs, then threw him against the ground, he made sure that the ground was hard, and began to stare down at Darkpaw, he placed his paw on Darkpaw's chest, claws unsheathed, he was ready to slash at any moment. Gritting his teeth, his Red eyes seemed to glow brighter, when they turned brighter red that means he was more angry. Slashingblade's fur bristled, he knew he would have to shove the kit in a river sooner or later.

Darkpaw suddenly froze. 'S-Slashingblade...' he mewed in absolute terror. He ducked behind Rockmask, hoping with all his heart that the fierce, cruel warrior would leave him be as he was with the Medicine Cat. At first, this seemed to be the case, but that he saw that viscious glint in the warrior's eyes and knew he was going to come and hurt him. Darkpaw felt like the other cat didn't care who or what saw him anymore, he was just determined to harm cats, and Darkpaw seemed to be at the top of his list; at least for the moment. As Slashingblade approached him, he could not help wondering exactly why this cat wanted to harm so many cats that were all YOUNGER than him. Surely that wasn't the way a warrior should think.. His mind was wiped blank of all thoughts except pure terror as he reached him, snarling. Darkpaw crouched down, hearing the rumble in the warrior's chest. 'Please..' he murmured, knowing that it was pointless. He cried out, but not out aloud as he was thrown to the ground. He tried to pull himself to his paws, but he felt two heavy paws stamp down either side of his body, then he felt a jolt of icy terror rush through him, as Slashingblade prepared to raise his paw for the killing blow. Suddenly, he found his voice. 'HELP ME!' he cried out, and his voice seemed to echo with the power of StarClan. He flailed his paws around in Slashingblade's face, hoping it would confuse him.

Slashingblade wasn't confused by Darkpaw flinging his paws around, he just kept staring at Darkpaw's face. "Here's the deal, if I let you go, then you have to promise me that no one finds out about this" Slashingblade's voice echoed deeply. "And if you do tell other cats about this, then I will dump you off that large cliff" Slashingblade didn't have the heart to kill this cat for some reason, so he just let the apprentince go. He then slowly lifted his paws from Darkpaw's chest, and walked away down the path that winded around the cliff from the kit's death. Slashingblade picked up the kit, rolled in the kit's sent so that it fully rubbed onto his pelt, then walked away with the dead limp kit in his jaws. Slowly walking to a stream, Slashingblade placed the kit into the heavy flowing stream, then jumped into the stream himself and rubbed the kits sent off his pelt. Slashingblade ran through a section of tall grass, but was dazed by a lightning bolt. "Mouse Dung it's gonna rain[/b]" He hissed in his thoughts, then bolted up the tree far away from Rockmask and Darkpaw. If Darkpaw followed Slashingblade ONE more time, he would give him some wounds to think about.

Darkpaw realized, while he was flailing his paws, that of course this expert - killing cat wouldn't be put off or confused by his feeble attempt. So he stopped and simply looked at him, pure fear in his eyes and pleading. Then, he realized, his heart leaping with relief, that he was not preparing to kill him anymore, yet simply sneering something at him. He listened intently, nodding furiously as he caught the gist of what the warrior was telling him. 'Of course.. I-I promise I won't say a word!' He mewed, hastily. Then, he shivered as the warrior gave his threat. He knew he definately did NOT want to be thrown of any cliffs.. the memory of the falling kit came back to replay in his head, making him close his eyes and shudder with fury and fear. He realized with relief that Slashingblade was walking away from him and he opened his eyes a crack, peering carefully at him. Darkpaw noticed that he headed straight for the other kit's body, and carefully picked it up and headed, in what Darkpaw thought, was the direction of the river. He quickly turned and padded at a reasonable pace in the opposite direction. He had learnt his lesson; do not follow Slashingblade. He cringed, as the first drops of heavy rain began to hit his pelt, splashing over his fur, leaving patches of it cold and wet. He hurried away back to the camp, thinking about the whole previous incident and the fact that the medicine cat had also witnessed it. He knew that dark times were coming to the clan, and he didn't know how to help, not when he had been threatened into silence..

~Sorry this is a bit late ''^^~
Rockmask's hackles rose the slightest bit at Slashingblade, for she was incredibly infuriated with what had happened to the kit. She was upset with the apprentice for not holding his ground, and scuttling off after some mumbling and tackling between him the disgraceful warrior, who had darted to the safety of a tree just before the aniticipated first drops of a storm fell from the sky. She growled at being abandoned in the woods tonight, and trotted ever faster to the camp. The rain fell harder and in greater quantities and a slight fog descended upon her familiar territory, seeming to make everything blurry. As she hurried along she felt an eerie presence above her that turned the peaceful sound of falling rain into a noise that could belong to another cat. She ignored it and huffed a breath. She would see to it that Slashingblade would not be returning to the comforts of the warrior den this evening, or any other evening for that matter. She focused her guard behind her and above her, ready to fight anything that would be willing to leap out of the foliage to attack her. Her claws had been sharpened a few days before, and she busied herself while running to call from her memory the trickiest of fighting skills, some of which she had never tested. She quickly scrambled off of the narrow path into a thick bush, and cleaned her front and back claws of the mud that accumulated since the rain. Then, from between two large leaves, she watched Slashingblade climb down the tree, and -maybe, just maybe, looked right at her- continued down the trail towards camp. Her eyes widened; her trick had worked. She hadn't been attacked. She leapt over boughs of bushes and squeezed her way through leafy obstacles. She got to a point where she was more than sure she had beaten Slashingblade to the camp, and realized she was on the very border just as some other warriors were heading out.

Slashingblade pricked his ears, he was ready to kill anything that would mess with him- even the medicine cat. He sensed danger, and also felt a sudden urge to evacuate camp. Slashingblade saw a group of badgers nearby- He knew what to do. Slashingblade carefully lured them into camp... He didn't know how he did it but he did, carefully, he hid his sent behind a large thistle bush meters away, no one would find him here. He was actually in the thistle bush, the needles stung at his pelt but he resisted.

Darkpaw carried on at a hurried pace to the camp. He thought he felt a cat's presence, watching him and turned around jumpily, expecting to see Slashingblade there, claws upraised. However, it was instead the eyes of the medicine cat that were upon him, and he looked questioningly, feeling he could see disappointment etched into her face. He shook his head, and turned away again, as she made no signs of wanting to talk to him. Out of the corner of his eye, he thought he saw her begin to pad off again, in the opposite direction, so he ignored her and worried about himself instead. He became focused on getting safely back to camp again. He darted over the logs and skirted around the brambles, quicker than he thought possible. He still wasn't sure what he was going to do when he got to camp. He didn't even know if he would be able to hide his true emotions, when he was around so many other cats.

Rockmask pondered what to do about the disgraced warrior at this point. She stood tensely behind the thistle bush, knowing he could not smell her. She could not smell him either, but she could see him quite plainly. He squirmed slightly, and she narrowed her eyes. Why was he just sitting there?? She realized with horror that there were badgers heading into the camp. She thought fast. Expose him now and give herself away; that could go horribly wrong. Chase the badgers away;that also could go horribly wrong. She decided on chasing the badgers, and darted around the perimeter of camp as far away from Slashingblade as possible.
